What’s my favourite dish!?? If there is duck on the menu, I don’t look at anything else!
What can I say about this recipe other than it was super easy and absolutely out of this world! The sweetness of the soy, honey and oyster made a wonderful marinade and gave it the perfect taste!
There was nothing I didn’t love about this dish!
I cooked two ducks so please look carefully at the recipe for the amount of ingredients to be used for one duck only.
Realistically, I should have made one duck for me and two for the fam! :) :) :)

RECIPE
Serves 4
1.75kg (3 1/2 lb) roasting duck
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon of ginger, chopped
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
2 tablespoon honey
salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to boil. Simmer for 2 mins. Remove from heat.
Coat the duck with marinade and bake for 45mins in moderate oven
Note: I coated the duck with more soy & oyster sauce at approx 20mins into cooking.
Serve duck cut in pieces and plated on juices.
