PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

COOKBOOK: Kid’s Cookbook

RATE: ❤️❤️❤️❤️👌🏻👌🏻💲

In no time these cookies were ready! Definitely a great & easy recipe for kids. I used my mixer but you can also use a hand held mixer or by hand with a little extra help from an adult. Please do not forget that you need to supervise the young ones in the kitchen (and some of the older ones as well!)

A delicious cookie recipe to make!

Enjoy!

RECIPE

Makes 20

150g butter, soft

150g smooth peanut butter

1 tablespoon vanilla essence

225g brown sugar

2 eggs, lightly beaten

200g plain flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

150g choc chips, for baking

Pre-heat oven on 180C.

Put the butter, peanut butter, vanilla essence and sugar into the mixing bowl & beat together. Add the lightly beaten egg and mix together.

Add the flour, baking powder & salt into the peanut butter mixture & mix well until smooth. Add the choice chips and mix until combined.

Drop a tablespoon of mixture on a tray lined with greaseproof paper. You don’t have to spread them out.

Take the tray and bake in oven for 10mins (if you like the chewy) or 15min if you like them crispy.

Let the cookies cool down on a baking tray for 2-3 mins and then transfer to a wire rack to cool down completely.
