I made pork chops a-la-greek way a short time ago but it was a different recipe from a different cookbook. You would be amazed at how many ways they like to cook lamb chops! Even though this was a microwave recipe I chose to bake it instead. I didn't want to ruin my lamb chops!

I'm not certain if this is the ‘real’ way of making chops but it was absolutely finger licking good!

How long do you leave the lamb chops in the oven? This is the million dollar question! It will depend on how your family members and guests like their meat. I like my meat rare to medium rare which almost makes my family gag at the look of the ‘raw’ meat. They like their meat rubbery which I refer to as ‘well done’. I normally take a few pieces out early for myself and leave the rest in the oven to ‘die’.

I didnt marinade the chops. I placed them on the tray and straight in the oven and they cooked beautifully!

Definitely one for you to try. You will not go wrong

8 lamb chops

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons lemon rind

2 tablespoons rosemary (dry)

2 tablespoons oregano (dry)

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 lemon - juice

salt & pepper

In a small bowl mix all ingredients with lamb chops. Mix well.

Arrange chops in baking tray.

Preheat oven 180C.

Place tray in moderate oven and cook from 10-20mins or when it reaches desired doneness. Serve immediately.
