Cutlet is the most expensive lamb cut but worth every penny!

Absolutely delicious! The sauce gave it an delicious almost sweet taste of sauce on a piece of meat that melts in your mouth.

This recipe is definitely one that needs to be made over and over again! Easy to make and out of this world in flavour!




Serves 4

1.5kg lamb cutlets

1/2 cup chopped onions

1 tablespoon olive oil

3/4 cup tomato pasta sauce

3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons vinegar

salt and pepper

Heat BBQ grill and grill cutlets approx 3-4 mins on each side.

Heat oil in pan, add onions and fry until soft. Add tomato pasta sauce and worcestershire sauce. Add vinegar, salt and pepper.

Add sugar and it will start to caramelise very quickly. After a minute or two, turn heat off.

Add the cutlets in the sauce and coat each of them. Place them on a serving plate. Ready to be served.
