CLASSIC HAMBURGER

You cannot go wrong with a home-made burger! This beats any burger, any where, anytime! Simple and so easy to make! Definitely a must make

RECIPE

Serves 4


Olive oil

750g mince beef

1 onion, chopped finely

1 handful of parsley, chopped finely

2 eggs, beaten

salt & pepper


BURGER FILLING

4 buns

mayo or espesad of your choice

2 tomatoes, sliced finely

handful of lettuce leaves

1 lebanese cucumber, sliced finely

alfalfa


Mix mince, onion, parsley, salt & pepper and egg in a bowl. Divide into 4 portions (approx 2 large spoonfuls) and shape into a ball. flatten lightly to form the shape of a patty. Refrigerate for approx 20mins.


Add olive oil in frying pan (enough to generously cover the base of the pan). Heat oil and add the patties to fry , approx 4-5mins on each side. Remove and set aside.


Cut buns in half (I used brioche buns and they were delicious).

Spread mayo or any spread of your choice. Top with lettuce , patty, tomato, cucumber and alfalfa. Ready to serve.
