COOKBOOK: Sanyo Cookbook
This was a delicious marinade. Probably a little light for a southern flavour but nevertheless delicious!
These ribs can be barbecued but if you do not have a barbecue, they can be oven-baked.
Super easy, super finger-licking good!
RECIPE
Serves 4
1.2k pork spareribs
6 tablespoons of flour
250g barbecue sauce
6 tablespoons of honey
6 tablespoons soy sauce
Cut the ribs into serving size. Place them in a bowl or deep dish. Add the flour coat the pieces.
Add the barbecued sauce, honey and soy sauce mix well into the ribs. This can also be done with a pastry brush.
Place ribs wrapped in foil on a barbecue grill. Allow it to cook for approx 10-15mins. Remove the foil for the last 5mins.
Please note: cooking time will be determined upon the heat of your barbecue
If you are baking the ribs, cover with foil, place them in a moderate oven, 180C, and bake for approx 15-20mins, remove foil and allow it to cook for a further 5mins.
