SPAGHETTI MARINARA

Nowadays you can buy the pre-mixed frozen marinara packets that are affordable and you can make a great family dinner that will even leave you with some leftovers for tomorrow!

This was a great recipe, super easy and in no time you will have a great dish to serve to all.

RECIPE

SERVES 4

Please note : I cook for an army! Please see below quantities for serving of 4 person

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 brown onion, diced and slightly chopped

1 small capsicum, diced

1/2 cup of white wine

1/2 cup tomato paste

850g canned chopped tomatoes

750g marinara mix

salt & pepper

1/4 cup chopped parsley

Heat oil in a deep pot. Add garlic and onion and fry until onion is soft (approx. 2mins).

Add capsicum, tomatoes and paste, wine, salt & pepper and the marinara. Bring to boil. Simmer for 20mins. Add parsley.

Cook your spaghetti as per package instructions. It is now ready to serve with marinara mix.
