Well I had sent out one of the family members to get me raw prawns/shrimp, and the return with cooked!
I had no time to for a second trip so in they went and of course I basically tossed around not cooking them as you would with raw shrimps.
The liquids and herbs gave it a delicious taste! I made it a light summer’s day lunch served with a green salad.

RECIPE
Serves 4 or 6 appertisers
i tablespoon of butter
25 king prawns (raw or cooked)
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried chilli flakes (optional)
1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped finely
Salt and pepper
Fry butter lightly in a frying pan, add the garlic and fry for a few seconds. Add prawns (this shrimp preferably should be raw. I had the misfortune of sending a family member to buy and they came back with cooked!) No wastage in this house, they got thrown in!
Add the lemon and chilli flakes (optional), and fresh parsley, salt & pepper.
Drain them and pour some of the juices over the dish. Serve with a green salad.
PRAWNS (SHRIMP) - cooking time
RAW: will need a little longer frying, until they turn a nice pink colour.
PRE- COOKED: These will need to be thrown in the pan & heat should then be turned down to low. Not long on the pan. These will not change colour.
