Here’s a very simple one with a twist on a carbonara pasta dish…..a bake! Very nice but it can get a little dry so its always good to serve it with a juicy steak and salad. This recipe makes a great side dish.

RECIPE
Serves 6
300g spaghetti
olive oil
150g grated cheese
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
250ml double cream
300 leg ham, diced
4 spigs rosemary, chopped finely
Parmesan cheese
Salt & pepper
Pre heat oven 180C.Cook the spaghetti in a pot of boiling water (as per package instructions). Drain and leave in a pot with a slight bit of liquid.
Grease a cake tin (preferably one with a lose bottom to make it easier to remove cake from tin).
In a deep pot, add ham, rosemary, egg and cream in with the spaghetti. Add salt & pepper. Add grated cheese and combine all.
Pack all in the cake tin and flatten with a spatula.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese on the top.
Bake in moderate oven for 30mins or until firm and golden.
